Mia Angelous ....
(wohnhaft ein einer kleinen Gemeinde auf Negros Oriental / Philippines)-Is a 4 year old female who is diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on Oktober 2010. She presented with spontaneous hematoma and gradual pallor for a month. Pertinent PE showed miltiple hematomas hepatosplenomegaly. CBC showed severe anemia with hemoglobin of 5 gm/dl and thrombocytopenia. Peripheral smear and Bone marrow aspiration showed lymphoblsts. She will be given the standard risk chemotherapy protocol.
Dank des Engagements eines deutschen Ehepaars, welches auf den Philippinen wohnt und sich Mias Fall annahm, wurde auch die BILD-Hilfsorganisation „Ein Herz für Kinder“ auf Mia aufmerksam sagte sofort Hilfe in Form der Übernahme der Behandlungskosten zu.
